William Noel

William is the newest member of the Harris Coggin team. He joined HC in April, 2018, and his tasks range from scheduling and tracking sub-contractors/vendors and keeping an open line of communication with clients, owners, and architects. Will is now our in-house “drone pilot” and provides us an eagle-eye view of our jobsites. He also has a knack for creating some nice finished woodworking pieces utilizing his shop in his basement.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Master’s degree in Building Science from Auburn University where also he spent two years as Auburn’s most beloved icon – Aubie the Tiger. During this time, he spent many a late night designing and constructing the props and sets that Aubie would use to entertain thousands of fans at games and events. That sparked his interest in working with his hands and building things that matter.

After graduating from the Auburn University College of Architecture, Design, and Construction, he began his professional career with Marathon Electrical Contractors in Birmingham, AL as an Assistant Project Manager in the International Division. He spent four years at Marathon working on contracts ranging from $60,000 – $20,000,000 and spanning the globe from here in Birmingham to Belgium, South Africa, Israel, the Philippines, and more.

Away from work, Will spends his time with his wife and their 2 year old son while they also get ready for one more baby on the way. His hobbies include woodworking, playing outside with his son, watching reruns of The Office and visiting his alma mater Auburn.
